Pete Retires
This month we have celebrated the retirement of one of our long-standing employees.
Pete came to us originally for 2 weeks on a temporary basis back in 2011, but enjoyed his time with us here at Sterling Machining so much that he ended up staying for over 12 years!
Continued Growth
As announced in 2020 we have continued as a business to reinvest in our future. The addition of our Unit on Hartington Industrial Estate has enabled us over the last few years to further expand our machine portfolio and employ more fully trained operators. This ensures we can offer our customers continued machining capacity and improved efficiency. The unit continues to progress and is exceeding all our expectations, already running at full capacity.
Our main site here on Speedwell Industrial Estate has also seen the benefits of our reinvestment with the purchase of new machines. This additional machine capacity on both sites ensures we can deliver the highest standard whilst maintaining the quality our customers have come to expect from us.
New Staff
Our continued growth over the last few years has meant we have been able to employ more staff:-
Jon, James, Martin, Andre, Matt, Anish, Rob, Pete, Scott, JiJo, Michael, Ricki and Simon - Machine Operatives.
Graeme, Keith, Rachel and Tracey - Administrative
As part of our continued commitment to train the next generation we have also welcomed several new Apprentices.
Lewis, Brad, George, Kai and Alex who are completing Engineering Apprenticeships at AMRC in Sheffield. whilst gaining valuable work experience with us here at Sterling Machining Ltd.
Welcome to the team everyone!
